Après une sortie exclusive le 23 juin 2022 durant l’event « BODEGA in Paris – Collaboration with New Balance » (article disponible ICI), BODEGA et New Balance annoncent le lancement de leur dernier projet commun basée sur la silhouette de la légendaire NB 574.
Cette collab, qui a pour slogan « Internationally known, locally respected », participe à la célébration des 15 ans de BODEGA.
Les 2 enseignes de Boston présentent une NB 574 spéciale, fabriquée à partir de matériaux haut de gamme et déclinée en 2 coloris accrocheurs : bleu et jaune.
La 1ère version se compose d’une empeigne en mesh et daim poilu de couleur bleu roi. Petit clin d’œil à l’autre coloris de ce pack, la doublure intérieure s’habille de jaune. Il en est de même pour la paire jaune qui voit sa doublure intérieure se parer de la couleur bleu roi. Par contre, cette 2ème version de couleur jaune présente un upper en daim perforé et des superpositions en daim lisse.
Les 2 itérations bénéficient d’éléments réfléchissants, tels que l’emblématique logo N latéral, le heel tab ainsi que les contours du col et du haut de la toe box. Pour affirmer la collab, le tag de languette traditionnel a été remplacé par une illustration spéciale tirée du thème « Internationally known, locally respected ». Le branding New Balance apparaît tout de même sur la partie haute de cette étiquette. Des clips de talon assortis à l’empeigne, une midsole blanche avec un insert gris et une outsole en caoutchouc noir parachèvent élégamment le design de ces paires collaboratives.

This collab, which has the slogan « Internationally known, locally respected », is part of BODEGA’s 15th anniversary celebration.
The two Boston-based brands are presenting a special NB 574, made from high-end materials and available in two eye-catching colorways : blue and yellow.
The 1st version consists of a mesh and furry suede upper in royal blue. A small nod to the other color of this pack, the inner lining is dressed in yellow. It’s the same for the yellow pair that sees its inner lining adorned with the color royal blue. On the other hand, this 2nd version of yellow color presents a perforated suede upper and smooth suede overlays.
The 2 iterations benefit from reflective elements, such as the iconic N logo on the side, the heel tab and the contours of the collar and the top of the toe box. To affirm the collab, the traditional tongue tag has been replaced with a special illustration from the « Internationally known, locally respected » theme. The New Balance branding still appears on the top of this tag. Matching heel clips on the upper, a white midsole with a grey insert and a black rubber outsole elegantly finish off the design of these collaborative pairs.
