The famous Boston shop BODEGA presents a new project. After teaming up with ASICS to bring their touch to the GEL-MC PLUS, the famous store is preparing an exclusive event to launch their latest collaboration with New Balance. A special limited version of the NB 574 will be unveiled for the Paris Market Week.
BODEGA stands for strong values and is highlighting one in particular as the theme of this latest collab and Paris event, the notion of success :« Internationally known, locally respected ».
BODEGA supports the idea that « no matter how big or small you are, the testament to your success is how you are perceived in your local community, a most formative place for growth and inspiration. »
To highlight this theme, BODEGA chose the capital city of Paris for its special event. Paris represents what the Boston shop expresses : it’s a city that holds international influence while treasuring its identity. On the same principle, BODEGA has humbly climbed the ladder of the sneaker game by keeping a privileged link with its local community, the first faithful to have supported the store.
The event includes the presentation of a limited version of the NB 574 Legacy, but also free food and drinks. For the food, BODEGA called on Kei Ogawa, a 4th generation chef specializing in French cuisine from a family of chefs in Tokyo. He offers classic French dishes with a Japanese touch. On the beverage side, there will be a natural wine bar offered by PEPINS, a brand created by 2 friends that represents the intersection between traditional wine and nature. They harvest 100% Gamay grapes by hand, macerate them for 12 days and crush them manually. The result is a fresh, light, clear wine with no added sulfates.
To ensure the atmosphere, the American rapper Larry June and other artists will also be there!
The event « BODEGA in Paris – Collaboration with New Balance » will take place from June 23rd to 25th 2022 at Paris Market Week, 43 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, Paris.
