Fort du succès de la AJ1 sortie en 2020, Jordan Brand a invité la mégastar J BALVIN a apposé sa touche sur la 2ème chaussure signature de Michael Jordan. Apparue au mois de novembre dernier aux pieds de l’artiste colombien, cette Air Jordan 2 inédite nous est présentée un peu plus en détails aujourd’hui.
Sortie initialement en 1986, ce modèle est loin d’être le plus populaire de la gamme Jordan, mais cela pourrait changer. Il a récemment suscité l’intérêt de grands noms comme le regretté Virgil Abloh, le shop UNION ou la marque française Maison Château Rouge, qui ont dévoilé leurs propres réinterprétations. Cette silhouette semble donc bien partie pour gagner en popularité.
La AJ2 remodelée par J Balvin apparaît dans une combinaison de nuances de la couleur bleue.
Elle arbore une tige matelassée en nylon ripstop avec des détails LED et des graphismes de nuages au niveau de la superposition de talon et de la doublure intérieure. La paire bénéficie d’un branding Jordan Brand sur la languette et du smiley jaune signature J Balvin sur le talon. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche et une outsole icy Glow-in-the-Dark.

It sports a padded ripstop nylon upper with LED detailing and cloud graphics at the heel overlay and inner lining. The pair features Jordan Brand branding on the tongue and the signature yellow J Balvin smiley face on the heel. The whole is based on a white midsole and icy Glow-in-the-Dark outsole.
