Il y a quelques jours, je vous parlais dans un article (dispo ICI) de la nouvelle collaboration entre le retailer de New-York Alife et Saucony. Ce nouveau projet semble rendre hommage à la ville natale de ALIFE, New York, en s’inspirant du MTA, le système de transport en commun de la Grande Pomme.
Ayant eu la chance de la recevoir en avance, je vous propose de la découvrir en images à mes pieds.
La paire se compose d’un upper en mesh blanc avec des superpositions en daim lisse. Sur l’avant et le milieu bas du pied, ces superpositions apparaissent de couleur blanche assortie, alors que sur le reste du pied, elles s’habillent aux couleurs des lignes de métro new-yorkaises. On découvre des œillets jaunes, des renforts de talon oranges ou verts, ainsi qu’une doublure intérieure rouge. Pour compléter le look, le tag de languette co-brandé se pare de bleu. Une touche de modernité est apportée par des éléments de couleur argentée, comme le logo latéral et le heel tab orné des inscriptions « New York ». Le branding ALIFE se distingue fièrement en rouge sur le mudguard latéral et l’année 2021 est tamponnée sur le col. L’ensemble repose sur une confortable midsole blanche couplée à une gum outsole.
La Alife x Saucony Shadow 6000 sortira le 18 décembre 2021, chez les détaillants sélectionnés tels que Sivasdescalzo et sur alifenewyork.com, au prix de 150€.
[:en]A few days ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the new collaboration between the New-York retailer Alife and Saucony. This new project seems to pay homage to ALIFE’s hometown, New York, by taking inspiration from the MTA, the Big Apple’s public transportation system.
Having been lucky enough to receive it in advance, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The pair consists of a white mesh upper with smooth suede overlays. On the front and the lower middle of the foot, these overlays appear in a matching white color, while on the rest of the foot, they are dressed in the colors of the New York subway lines. We discover yellow eyelets, orange or green heel reinforcements, as well as a red inner lining. To complete the look, the co-branded tongue tag is adorned with blue. A modern touch is provided by silver-colored elements, such as the side logo and the heel tab adorned with the words « New York ». The ALIFE branding stands out proudly in red on the side mudguard and the year 2021 is stamped on the collar. The whole is based on a comfortable white midsole coupled with a gum outsole.
The Alife x Saucony Shadow 6000 will be released on December 18, 2021, at select retailers such as Sivasdescalzo and alifenewyork.com, priced at 150$.
