Le légendaire shop de Chris Gibbs, UNION LA, poursuit la célébration de son 30ème anniversaire en collaborant avec des proches. Après, notamment, un pack avec Jordan Brand (article dispo ICI), le retailer s’associe avec un confrère historique : Stüssy.
Cette collection capsule rend hommage à l’impact qu’a eu les 2 marques sur ce qui est devenu aujourd’hui le streetwear contemporain. Elle célèbre trois décennie de leadership pionnier.
Bien que le label Stüssy ait été fondé 9 ans avant UNION LA, ils font partie tout les 2 de la même génération et ont toutes 2 vu le jour à New York, avant que Chris Gribbs se déplace vers la Côte Ouest.
La capsule se compose de hoodies, gilets à capuche zippés, chemises, plusieurs t-shirts graphiques ou recouverts de motifs et d’accessoires tels que des casquettes et des bobs en velours côtelé. L’ensemble de ces pièces mettent en lumière l’héritage fort des 2 marques en les parant du co-branding et du logo Frontman d’UNION.
La collection Stüssy x Union LA « 30th Anniversary » sortira le 23 juillet à 19h (heure de Paris) dans certaines boutiques UNION LA et Stüssy, ainsi qu’online sur stussy.com et unionlosangeles.com.
This capsule collection pays tribute to the impact that the two brands had on what has become contemporary streetwear. It celebrates three decades of pioneering leadership.
Although the Stüssy label was founded 9 years before UNION LA, they are both part of the same generation and were both born in New York, before Chris Gribbs moved to the West Coast.
The capsule consists of hoodies, shirts, several graphic or patterned t-shirts and accessories such as caps and corduroy bucket hats. All of these pieces highlight the strong heritage of the 2 brands by adorning them with UNION’s co-branding and Frontman logo.
The Stüssy x Union LA « 30th Anniversary » collection will be released on July 23 at 10 AM PST in select UNION LA and Stüssy stores, as well as online at stussy.com and unionlosangeles.com.
