Le célèbre détaillant écossais HANON et la marque sportswear britannique UMBRO continuent leur introspection des archives des kits de football écossais. Après nous avoir présentée une version alternative « Carbon ‘92 » à la fin du mois de mai (article dispo ICI) , les 2 partenaires nous propose un fidèle retour du maillot emblématique des années 90.
Ce maillot au look audacieux a été le kit extérieur officiel de l’Ecosse sur la période 1991-93. Il a été porté lors des matchs de qualification de l’Euro 92 où l’équipe d’Ecosse a fini première de son groupe.
Largement reconnaissable de par son graphique distinctif et ses couleurs vives, Hanon a souhaité rester fidèle au maillot d’origine, mais avec une touche de modernisation. Ce maillot conserve sa base de couleur blanche et son motif abstrait graphique sur le haut de la poitrine et du dos combinant du violet et du rouge. La couple ample et les manches chauve-souris typiques des années 90 ont été retravaillée afin d’apporter une touche moderne et lifestyle. On découvre donc une coupe plus régulière, des manches tombantes et un col côtelé blanc avec un liseré violet. Comme sur le maillot « Carbon ‘92 » les logos UMBRO et HANON se distinguent de chaque côté de la poitrine dans un style retro OG. Pour finaliser l’hommage, le maillot bénéficie d’un étiquetage interne OG et d’un emballage Repli-Kit.
Le maillot d’inspiration OG Hanon x Umbro ’92 sera lancé en édition limitée sur le site du magasin écossais hanon-shop.com via une raffle ouverte du 11 au 18 juin 2021. Le prix est fixé à 69£ (80€). Un pack comprenant cette version et la Carbon ’92 sera également accessible en édition limitée à 50 unités pour 130£ (150€).

After having presented us an alternative version « Carbon ’92 » at the end of May (article available HERE), the 2 partners propose us a faithful return of the emblematic shirt of the 90s.
This bold looking jersey was the official kit of Scotland for the period 1991-93. It was worn during the Euro 92 qualifying matches where the Scottish team finished first in their group.
Widely recognizable by its distinctive graphic and bright colors, Hanon wanted to stay true to the original jersey, but with a modern twist. This jersey retains its white base color and graphic abstract pattern on the upper chest and back combining purple and red. The loose fit and batwing sleeves typical of the 90s have been reworked to bring a modern and lifestyle touch. We discover a more regular cut, drop sleeves and a white ribbed collar with a purple border. As on the « Carbon ’92 » jersey, the UMBRO and HANON logos stand out on each side of the chest in a retro OG style. To finalize the tribute, the jersey benefits from an internal OG labeling and a Repli-Kit packaging.
The Hanon x Umbro ’92 OG-inspired jersey will be released in limited edition on the Scottish store hanon-shop.com via an open raffle from June 11-18, 2021. The price is set at 69£ (€80). A pack including this OG version and the Carbon ’92 will also be available in a limited edition of 50 units for 130£ (€150).
