La légendaire marque Carhartt WIP s’associe une nouvelle fois à CONVERSE afin d’apporter son style utilitaire à la fameuse silhouette Chuck 70. Après des itérations « Camo » sorties en début d’année (article disponible ICI), Carhartt WIP apporte le motif « Hinterland » aux versions hautes et basses de la Chuck 70.
Ce dernier motif peut être défini comme « camo artistique ». Il est inspiré de la nature et se présente dans une combinaison de couleur blanche, noire et verte. Selon le modèle, cet imprimé apparaît dans une nuance différente.
Sur la sneaker Low, le design est aéré, le motif rappelant les branches reste assez discret. La base en toile blanche est agrémentée du motif « Hinterland » noir et vert clair.
La version High comporte un motif « Hinterland » plus affirmé, avec sa base en toile noire et l’imprimé combinant blanc bleuté et vert basilic. On retrouve le légendaire badge Converse sur la cheville.
Bien que les couleurs diffèrent légèrement, les deux versions comportent les mêmes finitions : l’étiquette de languette avec le logo orange Carhartt WIP, la mythique semelle intermédiaire blanche « Egret » avec la plaque Converse All Star sur le talon et des insoles co-brandées. Une outsole en caoutchouc vert clair finalise le design.
Les CARHARTT WIP x CONVERSE Chuck 70 High & Low seront disponibles à partir du 27 mai 2021, exclusivement sur les sites des 2 partenaires : converse.com et carhartt-wip.com. Les prix sont fixé à 115€ pour le modèle High et 110€ pour le Low.
The latter pattern can be defined as « artistic camo ». It’s inspired by nature and comes in a combination of white, black and green. Depending on the model, this print appears in a different shade.
On the Low sneaker, the design is airy, the pattern reminiscent of branches remains fairly discreet. The white canvas base is embellished with the black and light green « Hinterland » pattern.
The High version has a more assertive « Hinterland » pattern, with its black canvas base and the print combining bluish white and basil green. The legendary Converse badge is found on the ankle.
Although the colors differ slightly, both versions feature the same finishes : the tongue tag with the orange Carhartt WIP logo, the iconic white « Egret » midsole with the Converse All Star plaque on the heel and co-branded insoles. A light green rubber outsole completes the design.
The CARHARTT WIP x CONVERSE Chuck 70 High & Low will be available from May 27, 2021, exclusively on the websites of the 2 partners : converse.com and carhartt-wip.com. Prices are set at 115$ for the High model and 110$ for the Low.
