Avant tout, un peu d’histoire s’impose pour les plus jeunes ne connaissant pas la marque K-Way.
K-Way est une marque française créée en 1965 par Léon-Claude Duhamel. Son idée, concevoir un vêtement de pluie complètement étanche qui se range dans sa propre poche banane. En 1970, le coupe vent K-Way devient un énorme succès commercial.
Avec ce projet, Foot District rend hommage à l’héritage de la marque française. Son design s’inspire des deux boutiques physiques de l’enseigne espagnole. En effet, la couleur de chaque manche reprend l’essence d’un de ces shops : la dorée représente celui de Barcelone, tandis que la grise reprend l’identité de celui de Madrid.

First of all, a bit of history is necessary for the youngest people who don’t know the K-Way brand.
K-Way is a French brand created in 1965 by Léon-Claude Duhamel. His idea was to design a completely waterproof rain jacket that can be stored in its own waistbag. In 1970, the K-Way windbreaker became a huge commercial success.
With this project, Foot District pays tribute to the French brand heritage. Its design is inspired by the two stores of the Spanish brand. In deed, the color of each sleeve takes up the essence of one of this shops : the golden one represents the Barcelona store while the grey one corresponds to the identity of Madrid.
