L’artiste graphique japonais VERDY dévoile son nouveau projet collaboratif. Il a fait équipe avec la division SB de Nike pour apporter sa touche unique à la très populaire Dunk Low et la Air Max Ishod, la 2ème chaussure signature d’Ishod Wair.
VERDY a été remarqué en 2016 lorsqu’il a fondé le label de skate Wasted Youth. Il a ensuite été connu à l’international pour son label Girls Don’t Cry et Vick, sa mascotte en forme de panda/lapin.
Pour cette nouvelle collab avec Nike SB, le créatif japonais s’est inspiré de Visty, sa peluche à collectionner, poilue et colorée.
Les paires présentent un look à la fois audacieux et ludique, assuré par une association de couleurs bleue, verte, jaune et rose pâle.
Imitant Visty, la SB Dunk Low revisitée est fabriquée à partir de fasse fourrure. Ce matériau teinté en vert se retrouve sur la toe box, le quarter et la languette, et de couleur rose sur le col. Les superpositions sont présentées en daim rayé bleu et le logo Swoosh latéral en cuir rose. Pour compléter le look, les lacets épais et la midsole optent pour une teinte jaune et l’outsole pour du vert. Une étiquette de languette rose contrastante ornée du co-branding affirme harmonieusement le design.
La Nike SB Air Max Ishod spéciale abandonne la fausse fourrure vue sur la Dunk, au profit d’une combinaison plus classique de mesh, daim et cuir. Faisant référence à Visty, la paire conserve le fameux coloris bleu/vert/rose/jaune. Elle se pare également d’empiècements latéraux semi-translucides, de perforations sur la toe box et d’un tirant de talon de couleur bleu ciel contrastante. Tout comme la SB Dunk Low collaborative, la SB Air Max Ishod comprend un Swoosh latéral et un col roses, ainsi que des lacets et une midsole jaunes associée à une outsole verte.

[:en]Japanese graphic artist VERDY unveils his new collaborative project. He has teamed up with Nike’s SB division to bring his unique touch to the hugely popular Dunk Low and the Air Max Ishod, Ishod Wair‘s 2nd signature shoe.
VERDY first came to attention in 2016 when he founded skate label Wasted Youth. He went on to become known internationally for his Girls Don’t Cry label and Vick, his panda/rabbit mascot.
For this new collab with Nike SB, the Japanese designer drew inspiration from Visty, his colorful, furry collectible plush.
The pairs feature a bold yet playful look, assured by a combination of blue, green, yellow and pale pink colors.
Imitating Visty, the revisited SB Dunk Low is made from faux fur. This green-tinted material is found on the toe box, quarter and tongue, and pink on the collar. The overlays are presented in blue striped suede and the side Swoosh logo in pink leather. To complete the look, the thick laces and midsole opt for a yellow hue and the outsole for green. A contrasting pink tongue label adorned with the co-branding harmoniously affirms the design.
The special Nike SB Air Max Ishod abandons the faux fur seen on the Dunk, in favor of a more classic combination of mesh, suede and leather. Referring to Visty, the pair retains the famous blue/green/pink/yellow colorway. It also features semi-translucent side inserts, perforations on the toe box and a contrasting sky-blue heel pull. Like the collaborative SB Dunk Low, the SB Air Max Ishod presents a pink side Swoosh and collar, as well as yellow laces and midsole combined with a green outsole.
