Le légendaire shop de Los Angeles, UNION, fête son 30ème anniversaire cette année. Comme annoncé précédemment, un grand nombre de collaborations va nous être proposé pour célébrer cet évènement. Jordan Brand est de la partie. Après avoir élaboré un duo de AJ4 ayant connu un grand succès l’année dernière, UNION L.A a de nouveau choisi cette silhouette iconique pour marquer ses 30 ans d’existence.
La rumeur annoncée plutôt une collaboration anniversaire basée sur l’emblématique Air Jordan 3, mais le compte bien renseigné @repgod888 confirme une nouvelle déclinaison de la fameuse AJ4.
La chaussure s’habille essentiellement de la couleur sobre taupe, avec des accents audacieux et contrastants vert menthe et bleu piscine, complétés par des touches de jaune pastel vintage.
Elle se compose d’un upper en mesh premium taupe or métallique avec des superpositions en daim taupe franc. Les œillets de lacets inférieurs en TPU apparaissent de couleur vert menthe, alors que les Wings et les œillets supérieurs sont translucides. Le heel tab, quant à lui, combine une base vert menthe et un branding bleu piscine. Cette dernière couleur audacieuse sert également à définir le tag de languette et le lining. Pour compléter le design, les panneaux et la partie de la languette en filet sont teintés en jaune pastel vieilli, ajoutant un côté vintage à la paire. On retrouve l’étiquette de branding jaune UNION cousue sur le côté de la chaussure et un hangtag bleu et taupe comportant les années 1991-2021 et le logo dansant. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle entièrement beige vintage.

The rumored anniversary collaboration was based more on the iconic Air Jordan 3, but the well-informed account @repgod888 confirms a new version of the famous AJ4.
The shoe is essentially dressed in the understated taupe colorway, with bold and contrasting mint green and pool blue accents, complemented by touches of vintage pastel yellow.
It consists of a metallic gold taupe premium mesh upper with clean taupe suede overlays. The TPU lower lace eyelets appear mint green, while the Wings and upper eyelets are translucent. The heel tab, meanwhile, combines a mint green base with pool blue branding. The latter bold color also serves to define the tongue tag and lining. To complete the design, the panels and tongue netting section are dyed in a aged pastel yellow, adding a vintage feel to the pair. We find a yellow UNION branding label stitched on the side of the shoe and a blue and taupe hangtag featuring the years 1991-2021 and the dancing logo. The whole is based on an all vintage beige sole.
