Le joueur NBA des Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young, poursuit sa collaboration avec l’équipementier ADIDAS en dévoilant une Forum Low inédite. Pour ce nouveau projet, le basketteur professionnel a invité le label de musique historique de sa ville, SO SO DEF, a participé à la conception de cette sneaker spéciale.
SO SO DEF a été fondé en 1992 à Atlanta par le grand Jermaine Dupri. Spécialisé dans le rap, le R&B et la bass music, ce label a signé des artistes comme Xscape, Kriss Kross, TLC, Bow Wow, Da Brat et Usher. SO SO DEF a eu un bel impact dans la musique urbaine américaine des années 90 début 2000. Ses artistes ont créé de hits et le producteur Jermaine Dupri a plusieurs fois été primé aux Grammy Awards.
Avec cette triple collaboration, Trae Young rend hommage à ce label et honore Atlanta. Habillée d’une palette de couleurs Core Black, Footwear White et Solar Red, la chaussure se compose d’un upper en cuir blanc avec des détails géométriques de couleur noire, incluant les emblématiques 3-Stripes. En ce qui concerne les détails de branding, on en découvre de couleur orange : le Trefoil adidas sous la cheville et le logo SO SO DEF sur le talon. Ce dernier se distingue également en noir et blanc sur l’insole orange. La signature et le logo de Trae Young de couleur noire ornent respectivement le strap et le tag de languette. Pour compléter le look, la doublure intérieure s’habille de noir et les passants du strap sont présentés en vert neon. Une midsole blanche couplée à une outsole orange apporte la touche finale.

With this triple collaboration, Trae Young pays tribute to this label and honors Atlanta. Dressed in a Core Black, Footwear White and Solar Red color palette, the shoe consists of a white leather upper with black geometric detailing, including the iconic 3-Stripes. As for the branding details, we discover some in orange : the Trefoil adidas under the ankle and the logo SO SO DEF on the heel. The latter stands out in black and white on the orange insole. Trae Young’s signature and logo in black adorn the strap and tongue tag respectively. To complete the look, the inner lining is dressed in black and the strap loops are featured in neon green. A white midsole paired with an orange outsole provides the finishing touch.
The So So Def x Trae Young x adidas Forum Low will be released on November 5, 2021 at select retailers and on adidas.com, priced at 100$.
