Le fameux retailer suédois Sneakersnstuff poursuit son fructueux partenariat avec le géant allemand adidas. Après avoir apporté sa touche personnelle à la silhouette avant-gardiste Ultra 4D (article dispo ICI), SNS a retravaillé un modèle iconique qui a fêté ses 50 ans durant toute cette année 2020, la Superstar. Cette nouvelle collaboration est baptisée « Kinenbi », signifiant « célébration du jour d’anniversaire » en japonais.
Cette édition spéciale apparaît dans une esthétique classique blanche et noire. Cependant la composition habituelle en cuir est remplacée par une construction velcro. Les superpositions repositionnables présentent 2 illustrations florales de couleur noire et blanche. Elles sont de taille imposante et peuvent décorer les panneaux latéraux où l’on retrouve les emblématiques Three Stripes noires. Pour compléter le design, 2 autres patchs velcro de type petit badge ont été élaborés. Ils portent la mention « SNS KZK » et « KINENBI », également de couleur noire sur blanc. Les brandings adidas et SNS apparaissent brodés en blanc, respectivement sur le heel tab noir droit et gauche. Les marques inversées ornent en doré les insoles noires et les languettes en cuir blanc. Afin d’affirmer la collaboration, le nom du retailer SNEAKERSNSTUFF est brodé en noir à la place du légendaire SUPERSTAR, au dessus des 3 bandes latérales. Une shell toe et une semelle entièrement de couleur crème apportent la touche finale.
Les lettres « KZK » apposées à SNS sur le badge repositionnable peuvent correspondre au créateur de mode japonais Kazuki Kuraishi, le fondateur de la ligne de vêtements THE FOURNESS. Il a déjà travaillé avec adidas et une veste de pluie agrémentée des motifs floraux, repris des velcros, est apparue dans le lookbook.

This special edition comes in a classic black and white aesthetic. However, the usual composition is replaced by a velcro construction. The repositionable overlays present 2 floral illustrations in black and white. They are of imposing size and can decorate the side panels where we find the emblematic Three Stripes in black. To complete the design, 2 other velcro patches of the small badge type have been developed. They bear the words « SNS KZK » and « KINENBI », also in black on white. The adidas and SNS brandings appear respectively embroidered in white on the right and left black heel tab. The inverted brandings adorn the black insoles in gold and white leather tongues. To affirm the collaboration, the retailer’s name SNEAKERSNSTUFF is embroidered in black instead of the legendary SUPERSTAR, above the 3 side stripes. A shell toe and an a sole in cream color add the finishing touch.
The letters « KZK » near to SNS on the repositionable badge can match the Japanese fashion designer Kazuki Kuraishi, the founder of the THE FOURNESS clothing line. He has already worked with adidas, and a rain jacket with floral patterns, reminiscent of the velcros, appeared in the lookbook.
