[:fr]Le détaillant britannique Size? fait équipe avec l’équipementier Reebok et l’iconique marque d’horloge murale américaine de style art déco , Kit-Cat Klock, afin de nous présenter un projet collaboratif. L’intemporelle Club C et l’horloge signature en forme de chat ont été revisitées en combinant les univers des partenaires.
Très appréciée pas les équipes de Size?, la trainer Reebok Club C était la toile idéale pour transférer l’ADN de l’horloge murale fantaisie en forme de chat souriant de Kit-Cat Klock.
La chaussure conserve son design traditionnel, avec quelques ajouts de détails distinctifs faisant référence à l’emblème « chat » de la marque d’horloge américaine fondée au début des années 30. Elle se compose d’une base en cuir blanc avec des superpositions en ton sur ton. L’originalité de la paire se trouve au niveau de languette orange camel en fourrure, rappelant le pelage du chat. Pour compléter l’hommage, la tête du chat noir souriant « Kit-Cat Klock », affublé de son nœud papillon, orne l’étiquette de languette et le heel tab gauche. On découvre aussi le double « e » de la marque Reebok sur le quarter panel remplacé par les « yeux chat » de l’horloge. Le label Size? apparaît en noir sur l’insole et la doublure intérieure est confectionnée en matière éponge blanche. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche combinée à une outsole en gomme, afin d’ajouter un style classique à la paire.
L’emblématique horloge murale Kit-Cat Klock, symbole des cuisines américaines populaires, a aussi été retravaillée par le détaillant britannique. Elle est fabriquée en bois brillant trempé dans l’eau afin de garder son design authentique et unique. Les quatre petites pattes du chat autour du cadran orange, le nœud papillon noir, les gros yeux mobiles noir et blanc et la queue pendulaire en bois complètent le look. La marque Size? apparaît en blanc aux côtés des chiffres, des aiguilles et du label Kit-Cat de même couleur.
La Size? x Kit-Cat Klock x Reebok Club C et l’horloge murale Size? x Kit-Cat Klock sortiront en édition limitée le 10 décembre 2020 dans les magasins Size? et online via une raffle ouverte sur l’appli Size?Launches.
Les sneakers seront disponibles en pointures hommes et femmes, du EU 35 au EU 47, pour un prix de 95€. L’horloge murale sera au prix de 100€.
[:en]British retailer Size? has teamed up with Reebok and the iconic art deco American wall clock brand Kit-Cat Klock to present a collaborative project. The timeless Club C and the cat-shaped signature clock have been revisited by combining the partners universes.
Much appreciated by the Size? teams, the Reebok Club C trainer was the ideal canvas to transfer the DNA of the Kit-Cat Klock’s smiling cat-shaped fancy wall clock.
The shoe retains its traditional design, with a few additions of distinctive details referring to the « cat » emblem of the American clock brand founded in the early 1930s. It consists of a white leather base with tone-on-tone overlays. The originality of the pair lies in the orange camel fur tongue, reminiscent of the cat’s coat. To complete the tribute, the head of the smiling black cat « Kit-Cat Klock », adorned with its bow tie, adorns the tongue label and the left heel tab. We also discover the double « e » of the Reebok brand on the quarter panel replaced by the « cat eyes » of the clock. The Size? label appears in black on the insole and the inner lining is made of white terry cloth. The whole is based on a white midsole combined with a rubber outsole to add a classic style to the pair.
The emblematic Kit-Cat Klock wall clock, a symbol of popular American kitchens, was also reworked by the British retailer. It’s made of glossy wood that has been soaked in water to keep its authentic and unique design. The cat’s four little paws around the orange dial, the black bow tie, the big black and white moving eyes and the wooden pendulum tail complete the look. The Size? brand appears in white next to the numbers, hands and Kit-Cat label in the same color.
The Size? x Kit-Cat Klock x Reebok Club C and the Size? x Kit-Cat Klock wall clock will be released in a limited edition on December 10, 2020 in Size? stores and online via an open raffle on the Size?Launches app.
The sneakers will be available in men’s and women’s sizes, from EU 35 to EU 47, for a price of 95€. The wall clock will be priced at 100€.
