[:fr]Après nous avoir déjà présenté de très belles collaborations cette année, notamment la Gel III conçue avec Atmos et Asics (article disponible ICI), Sean Wotherspoon reste sur sa lancée et nous donne un aperçu de son prochain projet avec les allemands de chez adidas. Le fameux fondateur de Round Two avait brièvement teasé l’arrière d’une chaussure au mois de mai sur son compte Instagram, en parallèle à la Superstar revisitée. Le deuxième volet de cette collaboration serait basé sur la silhouette incontournable adidas ZX 8000.

Sean Wotherspoon semble avoir designé cette adidas ZX 8000 dans le même esprit écoresponsable que la Superstar, transformée par ses soins en SuperEarth. Le talon de cette chaussure est recouvert d’un tissu rouge brique probablement issu du recyclage. Le contrefort de talon est remplacé par un empiècement transparent laissant apparaitre des fils de diverses couleurs, rappelant les détails de la adidas Superstar retravaillée. Autre similitude, le logo bleu et vert associant le branding adidas revisité avec l’appellation SUPEREARTH et les initiales de Sean Wotherspoon, est apposé sur le talon. Au-dessus, on découvre une section présentant un chaleureux tissu à carreaux colorés. L’avant de la chaussure semble se parer de panneaux écrus et l’ensemble reposerait sur une semelle assortie.
La Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 devrait sortir au mois de février 2021, chez les détaillants sélectionnés et sur adidas.com, pour un prix de 140€. Nous ne sommes qu’au début du teasing, restez connectés !
[:en]After having already presented us with some very nice collaborations this year, notably the Gel III designed with Atmos and Asics (article available HERE), Sean Wotherspoon stays on track and gives us a glimpse of his next project with the Germans from adidas. The famous founder of Round Two had briefly teased the back of a shoe in May on his Instagram account, in parallel to the Superstar revisited. The second part of this collaboration would be based on the esssential adidas ZX 8000 silhouette.

Sean Wotherspoon seems to have designed the adidas ZX 8000 in the same eco-friendly spirit as the Superstar, which he has transformed into the SuperEarth. The heel of this shoe is covered with a brick-red fabric that probably comes from recycling. The heel counter is replaced by a transparent insert that reveals threads of various colours, reminiscent of the reworked adidas Superstar. Another similarity is the blue and green logo on the heel, which combines the redesigned adidas branding with the SUPEREARTH name and Sean Wotherspoon’s initials. Above, we find a section featuring a warm, colourful plaid fabric. The front of the shoe seems to be adorned with unbleached panels and the whole is based on a matching sole.
The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 is scheduled for release in February 2021 at selected retailers and on adidas.com for 140€.
