[:fr]Le fameux designer footwear de l’année 2020, Salehe BEMBURY, tease depuis quelques semaines sa collaboration à venir avec la marque de sabots CROCS. Hier, l’ancien de chez Versace a offert une vision plus détaillée de ce projet collaboratif sur son compte Instagram.
Mélangeant les matériaux, les textures, les couleurs et les imprimés, Salehe BEMBURY est connu pour ses créations audacieuses au design accrocheur. Ses collabs avec Anta, Vans et surtout New Balance ont reçu un accueil très chaleureux de la part des sneakerheads. Salehe est l’un des designers footwear les plus appréciés actuellement.
Contrairement à d’autres collaborateurs comme la marque Palace ou le rappeur Bad Bunny qui ont conservé le shape d’origine de la CROCS Classic Clog, Salehe BEMBURY l’a retravaillée pour lui donner un look exclusif et unique. Jouant sur les textures et les détails, le fondateur de la marque de mode SPUNGE s’est inspiré de son motif signature d’empreintes digitales pour la conception de cette paire. Le sabot en mousse blanche donne l’impression d’être recouvert de ce motif signature en version oversize. On découvre des découpes de forme ovale sur l’avant du pied afin de favoriser la respirabilité. Une touche de contraste de couleur noire est apportée par la sangle de talon, la partie arrière du pied, l’outsole et une partie semi-translucide sur le côté gauche de la toe box. Le co-branding apparaît en relief et en ton sur ton sur la partie haute blanche de l’arrière du talon. Comme toujours avec le talentueux designer, tout est dans le détail !
Pour l’instant, le designer new yorkais n’a pas précisé les modalités de sortie de cette nouvelle collab. Cependant, la Salehe Bembury x CROCS devrait sortir prochainement. Nous surveillons le compte personnel du créateur ainsi que les réseaux sociaux de son label SPUNGE… Restez connectés !

Mixing materials, textures, colors and prints, Salehe BEMBURY is known for his bold creations with eye-catching designs. His collabs with Anta, Vans and especially New Balance have received a very warm welcome from sneakerheads. Salehe is one of the most popular footwear designers today.
Unlike other collaborators such as Palace or the rapper Bad Bunny who have kept the original shape of the CROCS Classic Clog, Salehe BEMBURY has reworked it to give it an exclusive and unique look. Playing with textures and details, the founder of the fashion brand SPUNGE drew inspiration from his signature fingerprint pattern for the design of this pair. The white foam clog feels like it’s covered in this signature pattern in an oversized version. Oval-shaped cutouts are revealed on the forefoot to promote breathability. A touch of black contrast is provided by the heel strap, the back of the foot, the outsole and a semi-translucent part on the left side of the toe box. The co-branding is embossed and toned on the high white part of the back of the heel. As always with the talented designer, it’s all in the detail !
For the moment, the New York designer has not specified the terms of release of this new collab. However, the Salehe Bembury x CROCS should be released soon. We are watching the personal account of the designer as well as the social networks of his label SPUNGE… Stay tuned !
