Ils se risquent même à tester des techniques de colorations sur leurs modèles cultes, comme aujourd’hui en nous présentant la « SACAI NIKE WAFFLE RACER indigo + kimono EDIT »
Un des fondateurs de Bespoke ind, Damian Sim, a utilisé sa paire personnelle de Nike Sacai waffle white pour tester une méthode de coloration. Afin d’obtenir plus de contraste et de tonalités de bleus sur les différentes parties de la chaussure, Damian a utilisé la solution de base de leur cuve d’indigo en optant pour un triple processus de rinçage et d’activation. Il a obtenu par la suite un bleu « bébé » sur les panneaux en daim recouvrant notamment le swoosh inférieur, le talon et le laceguard. Un indigo plus foncé se retrouve sur les languettes, le reste de l’upper et sur le swoosh supérieur appelé swoosh flottant, qui se compose ici de matière utilisée pour concevoir les ceintures de kimono japonais. Les lacets et la semelle ressortent avec des touches irrégulières de bleu ciel. Cette méthode de coloration rend chaque paire unique.

One of the founders of Bespoke ind, Damian Sim, used his personal pair of Nike Sacai waffle white to test a colouring method. In order to get more contrast and blue tones on the different parts of the shoe, Damian used the base solution from their indigo vat and opted for a triple process of rinsing and activation. He then obtained a « baby blue » on the suede panels covering the lower swoosh, heel and laceguard. Darker indigo is found on the tongues, the rest of the upper and on the upper swoosh called floating swoosh, which here is made of the material used to design Japanese kimono obi. The laces and sole stand out with irregular touches of sky blue. This method of colouring makes each pair unique.
