[vc_row][vc_column width= »1/2″][vc_column_text]Depuis le tragique accident d’hélicoptère du 26 janvier 2020 qui a couté la vie à 9 personnes, incluant le joueur de basket-ball iconique des Los Angeles Lakers : le grand Kobe Bryant, Nike chamboulait son calendrier de sorties et semblait souhaiter réaliser une paire hommage. C’est lors du All-Star Weekend que ce projet à été dévoilé. En effet, le pivot Anthony Davis arrivait sur le parquet chaussé d’une déclinaison du modèle signature de Kobe aux couleurs de son club : la « Nike Kobe 5 Protro Lakers ».
Après le retour de la Kobe 5 « Chaos » depuis janvier, devait s’en suivre un mois plus tard, une Kobe 5 mélangeant le coloris blanc et or rappelant le modèle que le Black Mamba porté lors des Finals. Cette paire devait être disponible le 7 février afin d’honorer le dernier titre attribué à Mr Bryant. Cependant, le destin du joueur de légende en a décidé autrement…
Attendue avec impatience, la « Nike Kobe 5 Protro Lakers » se présente avec une construction simplifiée de l’empeigne.
Le upper verni est composé de matériaux synthétiques arborant le fameux coloris violet « Court Purple » des Lakers. Par-dessus, on retrouve des empiècements noir mat ainsi qu’un imprimé de même couleur et dans un style « peau de serpent », clin d’œil au surnom Black Mamba, sur le contrefort du talon. Les contours des différentes parties et du swoosh sont finement délimités en jaune or « University Gold », autre couleur emblématiques du club de L.A. Sur le talon noir verni, la signature de Kobe Bryant est mise en avant par sa couleur jaune. La languette combine la couleur purple à l’extérieur, sur laquelle brille le logo Kobe métallisé, et jaune à l’intérieur. Les lacets sont présentés en violet, mais on peut penser que la sneaker sera aussi livrée avec une paire jaune or. Les graphismes représentant les caractéristiques de la ville californienne et décorant l’insole, remontent jusqu’au col de la chaussure. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche et une outsole translucide bleu glacier.
La sortie de la paire hommage « NIKE KOBE 5 PROTRO LAKERS » a été repoussée depuis la date initialement annoncée. Selon les dernières informations, elle devrait finalement être disponible le 16 mai 2020 chez les revendeurs Nike, comme Sneakersnstuff, au prix de 180€

It was during the All-Star Weekend that this project was unveiled. Indeed, the Anthony Davis pivot arrived on the floor wearing a variation of Kobe’s signature model in the colours of his club : the « Nike Kobe 5 Protro Lakers ».
After the return of the Kobe 5 « Chaos » since January, a Kobe 5 mixing white and gold colorways was to follow one month later, a Kobe 5 mixing white and gold colours reminiscent of the model worn by the Black Mamba during the Finals. This pair was due to be available on February 7th to honour Mr Bryant’s latest title. However, the fate of the legendary player decided otherwise…
Eagerly awaited, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Lakers comes with a simplified vamp construction.
The patent upper is made of synthetic materials in the famous Laker « Court Purple » colour. The matte black inserts and a print in the same colour and in a snakeskin style, reminiscent of the nickname Black Mamba, are found on the heel counter. The contours of the different parts and the swoosh are finely outlined in « University Gold » (yellow gold), another emblematic colorway of the L.A. club. On the patent black heel, Kobe Bryant’s signature is highlighted by its yellow colour. The tongue combines the purple colour on the outside, on which the metallic Kobe logo shines, and yellow on the inside. The laces are presented in purple, but it’s expected that the sneaker will also come with a pair of gold yellow laces. The graphics representing the characteristics of the Californian city and decorating the insole can be seen all the way up to the collar of the shoe. The whole is based on a white midsole and an icy translucent outsole.
The release of the « NIKE KOBE 5 PROTRO LAKERS » tribute pair has been postponed since the date originally announced. According to the latest information, it should finally be available on May 16, 2020 at Nike retailers such as Sneakersnstuff for €180.
