Dernièrement, la gamme IPSA de Nike (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) nous a présenté sa collection complète textile et sneakers pour l’année 2020. Après avoir dévoilé la silhouette OverReact en deux coloris (article disponible ICI), un modèle partageant la même construction mais décliné en version estivale nous est proposé aujourd’hui : la Nike IPSA OverReact Sandal.
Cette chaussure, pensée pour les journées chaudes et ensoleillées, se présente également en deux coloris : Noir/Gris Anthracite et Marron/Camel.
Cette paire reprend les atouts d’une sandale en y ajoutant un côté confort et lifestyle, pour profiter pleinement des longues balades et des festivités d’été. On retrouve une base composée de superpositions en mesh ultra-respirant et de matières synthétiques entrelacées, afin de combiner confort et maintien. Cette façon de concevoir le upper permet à certaines parties du pied d’être totalement visibles et d’autres partiellement, grâce à des empiècements translucides. En ce qui concerne le laçage, un unique lacet vient ajuster le pied à l’aide d’un bloque-lacet positionné sur le talon. On retrouve une bande de languette comportant le branding IPSA et un mini Swoosh discrètement appliqué sur la toe box. Une touche de contraste est apportée sur la paire en coloris marron par des tenants de lacets noirs. Comme pour le modèle OverReact, l’ensemble repose sur une semelle intermédiaire oversize de technologie React, offrant une traction optimale. Pour l’itération marron, la midsole est beige et l’outsole marron, alors que pour le coloris gris anthracite, la semelle est totalement noire.

[:en]Recently, the IPSA division of Nike (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) presented its complete textile and sneakers collection for the year 2020. After having unveiled the OverReact silhouette in two colorways (article available HERE), a model sharing the same tooling but declined in summer version is proposed to us today : the Nike IPSA OverReact Sandal.
This shoe, designed for hot and sunny days, is also available in two colorways : black/Anthracite Grey and Brown/Camel.
This pair takes the advantages of a sandal and adds a comfort and lifestyle side to it, to take full advantage of long walks and summer festivities. The base consists of super-breathable mesh overlays and interlaced synthetic materials to combine comfort and support. This way of designing the upper allows some parts of the foot to be fully visible and others partially, thanks to translucent inserts. As for lacing, a single drawstring lace adjusts the foot with the help of a lace-block positioned on the heel. We find a tongue stripe with IPSA branding and a mini Swoosh discreetly applied to the toe box. A touch of contrast is added to the pair in brown colorway with black lace holders. As with the OverReact model, the whole is based on an oversize midsole with React technology, offering optimal traction. For the brown iteration, the midsole is beige and the outsole is brown, while for the anthracite grey colorway, the sole is all black.
The redesigned summer shoe Nike IPSA OverReact Sandal in colorway Black/Grey Anthracite and Brown/Camel will be available on July 31, 2020 at Nike.com and selected retailers.
