[:fr]Pour cette nouvelle année 2023, le géant américain NIKE nous réserve de belles surprises. En plus de prochaines collabs accrocheuses et de nouveaux modèles innovants, la marque au Swoosh rééditera des éditions cultes dont la Air Max 1 issue du pack « Shima Shima » de 2003.
Cette AM 1 spéciale sera lancée pour célébrer le 20ème anniversaire du pack « Shima Shima ». D’inspiration japonaise, cet assortiment comprenait 2 Air Max 1, 3 Dunk High et une Air Trainer 1.
La version Air Max 1 « Shima Shima » de 2023 rappele le modèle OG tout en se parant de différences significatives. Elle se compose d’un upper en cuir blanc, complété par des superpositions de couleur marron sur le bas du pied et grises sur la partie médiale ainsi que le talon. La paire reprend le motif de rayures appliqué sur la doublure intérieure blanche. Il apparaît en alternance de marron et gris sur cette nouvelle déclinaison. Pour assurer le look, le Swoosh latéral, le branding Nike Air de talon, le tag de languette et les lacets sont présentés en marron. On retrouve la fameuse inscription rouge ‘Shima Shima’ sous forme de kanji au niveau de languette et de l’insole marron. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche et une outsole bicolore marron/grise qui finalisent harmonieusement le design.

[:en]For this new year 2023, the American giant NIKE has some nice surprises in store. In addition to the next eye-catching collab and new innovative models, the Swoosh brand will reissue cult editions including the Air Max 1 from the 2003 « Shima Shima » pack.
This special AM 1 will be launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the « Shima Shima » pack. This Japanese-inspired assortment included 2 Air Max 1, 3 Dunk High and an Air Trainer 1.
The 2023 Air Max 1 « Shima Shima » version is reminiscent of the OG model but with significant differences. It consists of a white leather upper complemented by brown overlays on the bottom and grey overlays on the midfoot and heel. The pair features the stripe pattern applied to the white inner lining. It appears in alternating brown and grey on this new variation. To ensure the look, the side Swoosh, the Nike Air heel branding, the tongue tag and the laces are presented in brown. We find the famous red inscription ‘Shima Shima’ in the form of kanji at the level of the tongue and the brown insole. The whole is based on a white midsole and a two-tone brown/grey outsole that harmoniously finalize the design.
The 2023 Nike Air Max 1 « Shima Shima » could be a European Exclusive and is expected to be released during the spring season at select retailers and nike.com. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
