Après avoir annoncé le lancement de KITH RECORDS le mois dernier, Ronnie Fieg revient sur la création de sneakers et dévoile une nouvelle collab avec NEW BALANCE. Ce dernier opus est basé sur la silhouette de la 1906R.
Comme a son habitude, le fondateur de la marque new-yorkaise a apporté sa touche unique ‘streetwear-chic’ au design NB remodelé.
La Kith x New Balance 1906R nous est proposée en 2 coloris : « Sail/Blue », teasé au mois de janvier (article dispo ICI), et « Black/Gold-Burgundy ».
Elle se compose d’un upper en mesh complété par des superpositions en cuir synthétique de couleur assortie ou contrastante, et par un renfort de pointe métallique. Un contrefort de talon en TPU, un logo N latéral minutieusement tissé et de petits logos ‘N’ ou ‘NB’ disposés sur différentes parties du pied assurent le look de cette paire mixant performance, confort et élégance. Pour affirmer la collab, la paire est ornée d’un co-branding spécial au niveau de la languette. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole technique de couleur matchant avec l’empeigne et sur une fine outsole en caoutchouc.
Le duo Kith x New Balance 1906R sortira dans le cadre du prochain Monday Program de la marque streetwear new-yorkaise, le 11 mars 2024 à 11h, en boutique, online et sur l’appli KITH. Soyez prêts et bonne chance !
Le colorway White/Blue a déjà été lancé en exclusivité le 8 mars 2023, pour célébrer la journée des droits de la Femme, dans le magasin KITH Women de New York.
As usual, the founder of the New York brand has brought his unique streetwear-chic touch to the reworked NB design.
The Kith x New Balance 1906R comes in 2 colorways : « Sail/Blue », teased in January (article available HERE), and « Black/Gold-Burgundy ».
It consists of a mesh upper complemented by synthetic leather overlays in matching or contrasting colors, and a metal toe reinforcement. A TPU heel counter, a meticulously woven N logo on the side and small ‘N’ or ‘NB’ logos on different parts of the foot ensure the look of this pair that mixes performance, comfort and elegance. To affirm the collab, the pair is adorned with special co-branding on the tongue. The whole is based on a technical midsole in a color matching the upper and a thin rubber outsole.
The Kith x New Balance 1906R duo will be released as part of the New York streetwear brand’s next Monday Program, on March 11, 2024 at 11am, in stores, online and on the KITH app. Get ready and good luck !
