Un mois après nous avoir présenté sa collab avec Ghica Popa, la marque allemande de sneakers haut de gamme KangaROOS dévoile un pack nommé « Gentleman » et se composant de 2 silhouettes très élégantes, la Voltera Ultimate et Voltera Coil.
Ces paires évoquant la sophistication sont minutieusement fabriquées à la main en Allemagne dans l’entreprise familiale Hummel&Hummel.
Elles représentent la convergence entre la tradition et l’innovation, et la fusion entre le luxe et la performance.
Pour leur design, elles s’inspirent de la ville historique italienne, Volterra. KangaROOS donne vie à l’essence du cuir dans sa forme la plus pure, aussi douce que du beurre. Cette collection se distingue par le soin extraordinaire apporté à la préparation du cuir. Ce matériau noble a bénéficié d’un traitement à la cire exclusif afin qu’il soit imprégné d’un luxe somptueux.
Pour les Voltera Ultimate et Coil en cuir Black le processus implique un cirage méticuleux à la main, suivi d’un ponçage de précision et d’un polissage naturel à la cire de carnauba.
Pour les Voltera Ultimate et Coil en cuir Cognac ou Mocca, leurs teintes sont peaufinées avec une application de vernis liquide sur mesure, puis un 1er polissage et un polissage expert, le tout en utilisant la cire de carnauba naturelle originaire du Brésil et qui se classe parmi les plus robuste du monde.
Ces sneakers haut de gamme se composent d’un upper en cuir perforé et lisse en ton sur ton. On retrouve l’emblématique logo sur le quarter panel et la languette. Pour compléter le look, le lining comprend du textile et du cuir de cochon, le sockliner apparaît en microfibre issu du recyclage des bouteilles collectées dans l’océan et l’assisse plantaire est conçue à partir de 86% de tissus destinés à la poubelle.
La particularité des Voltera Ultimate et Coil réside dans leurs semelles extérieures. Ces modèles sont équipés du système pionnier d’absorption des chocs et de recyclage d’énergie KangaROOS DYNACOIL, développé par nul autre que la NASA, et aussi Phylon et TPR. This collection is distinguished by the extraordinary care taken in the preparation of the leather. This noble material has undergone an exclusive wax treatment so that it is imbued with sumptuous luxury.
For the Voltera Ultimate and Coil in Black leather the process involves meticulous hand waxing, followed by precision sanding and natural polishing with carnauba wax.
For the Voltera Ultimate and Coil in Cognac or Mocca leather, their colors are refined with an application of custom liquid varnish, then a first buffing and an expert buffing, all using natural carnauba wax from Brazil and which ranks among the most robust in the world.
These high-end sneakers are made with a tone-on-tone perforated and smooth leather upper. We find the emblematic logo on the quarter panel and the tongue. To complete the look, the lining includes textile and pig skin, the insole appears in microfiber from recycled bottles in the ocean and the footbed is made from 86% fabrics destined for the trash.
