Je vous en avais parlé dans un article disponible ICI. Aujourd’hui, c’est avec la paire à mes pieds que je vous propose de la découvrir.
Conformément à la tradition chinoise, La Kangaroos Coil R1 est équipée de symboles de chance. On retrouve des références à la monnaie Chinoise “le Renminbi”, symbole d’espoir pour de nombreux bénéfices au cours de l’année. De plus, un nœud porte-bonheur est accroché sur les lacets et l’emblème du rat est appliqué sur la languette, ce qui est gâge de chance supplémentaire. La sneaker est de couleur rouge et or car en Chine, selon l’imagination mythologique, ces couleurs aident à chasser un monstre mangeur d’hommes qui revient chaque année.
La paire se compose d’un upper en daim de veau et de matériaux en PET recyclé. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle Dynacoil.
Encore une fois, Kangaroos nous présente un projet abouti, avec un véritable thème largement bien représenté sur la paire. La qualité des matériaux et les finitions sont exceptionnelles. Il s’agit là d’une véritable chaussure de collection, faite à la main et limitée à un peu plus de 300 paires dans le monde. In accordance with the Chinese tradition, the Kangaroos Coil R1 features symbols of luck. Also a lucky bow is hung on the laces and the rat emblem applied to the tongue, which is an additional good-luck charm. The sneaker is red and gold because in China, in line to mythological imagination, these colours help to hunt a man-eater monster who comes back every year.
