[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]En ce début de célébration de ses trente années d’existence, le célèbre shop Ecossais Hanon s’est associé aux Japonais de Mizuno, afin de nous offrir une très jolie collaboration rendant hommage à l’une des plus grandes spécialités écossaises : le Whisky.
Hanon est initialement originaire de Speyside. Une région célèbre pour son whisky, son nombre de distilleries, ses tonnelleries et ses toits de pagodes. Afin de célébrer cette association Ecosse/Japon, l’équipe d’Hanon s’est appuyée sur la nature poétique du whisky en rendant hommage à « The Angel’s Share ».
« The Angel’s Share » est décrit comme le pourcentage d’alcool qui s’évapore d’un fût dans l’air à mesure que le whisky vieillit. Pour l’Écosse en particulier, le montant que « l’Ange » prend est d’environ 2% par an, en raison de la nature plus froide du climat. La part peut également être déterminée par la taille du baril, le temps et les conditions environnementales.
La paire se compose d’un upper en velours côtelé et en daim de porc. Le toe box est confectionné en daim perforé. On retrouve des détails de branding Hanon au niveau de la languette, le talon, la semelle intérieure et le bout des lacets. La semelle intérieure en cuir comporte la phrase gaélique « Uisge beatha », utilisée pour décrire le whisky et qui se traduit par « Eau-de-vie ».
Présentée dans la boîte classique Mizuno, la Sky Medal x Hanon sera fournie avec trois paires de lacets et sera disponible chez HANON via une tombola en ligne qui commence le 17 février.

Hanon is originally from Speyside. A region famous for its whisky, its number of distilleries, its cooperages and its Pagoda roofs. In order to celebrate this Scottish/Japanese association, the Hanon team has relied on the poetic nature of whisky by paying tribute to « The Angel’s Share ».
« The Angel’s Share » is described as the percentage of alcohol that evaporates from a cask into the air as the whisky ages. For Scotland in particular, the amount the « Angel » takes is about 2% per year, due to the colder nature of the climate. The share can also be determined by cask size, weather and environmental conditions.
The pair consists of an upper in corduroy and pig suede. The toe box is made of perforated suede. Hanon branding details can be found on the tongue, heel, insole and the tip of the laces. The leather insole features Gaelic words « Uisge beatha », which are used to describe whisky and translate as « Eau-de-vie » or « Brandy ».
