La célèbre marque G-Shock nous présente régulièrement des modèles réimaginés selon des thèmes précis et continue d’innover afin d’enrichir son catalogue (divers articles dispos sur ce site). La dernière nouveauté de la marque de montres japonaise : une toute nouvelle MRG-B5000R.
Ce design fait partie de la ligne MRG, pilier créatif de G-Shock.
La MRG-B5000R arbore un look mariant héritage et innovation. L’ADN de la toute première G-SHOCK lancée en 1983 est respecté, aussi bien au niveau de son esthétique que de ses performances. Elle est fabriquée à partir de matériaux high-tech et comprend des technologies de pointe. Côté look, ce modèle est présenté dans des nuances de couleurs rendent hommage à la DW-5000C-1B, la version noire aux touches dorées de la toute première G-SHOCK. Elle se pare, notamment, de finitions des boutons poussoirs et les détails or dispersés sur le cadran.
Cette montre se compose d’un boîtier intégrant du Cobarion – un alliage ultra-résistant adouci par un polissage artisanal après avoir été noirci par un traitement DLC, Diamond Like Carbon. Cet élément conserve sa forme iconique, tout en bénéficiant de finitions inédites qui assurent la robustesse et la durabilité en conditions extrêmes.
La lunette de la MRG-B5000R est le fruit de l’assemblage de 25 composants et le bracelet Dura Soft offre un belle douceur. Décoré de motifs texturés reprenant la forme des briques que l’on retrouve autour de l’écran de la première G-SHOCK, il offre un excellent confort au porté et s’ajuste parfaitement autour du poignet. Ce bracelet élégant est également très résistant. Il se dote d’un moulage par insertion de composants en titane qui renforce sa solidité et son intégration au boîtier.

The MRG-B5000R has a look that combines heritage and innovation. The DNA of the very first G-SHOCK, launched in 1983, is respected, both in terms of aesthetics and performance. It’s made from high-tech materials and incorporates cutting-edge technologies. In terms of looks, this model is presented in shades of color that pay homage to the DW-5000C-1B, the black version with gold accents of the very first G-SHOCK. It’s adorned, in particular, with push-button finishes and gold details scattered across the dial.
This watch features a case made of Cobarion – an ultra-resistant alloy softened by artisanal polishing after being blackened by a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment. This element retains its iconic shape, while benefiting from new finishes that ensure robustness and durability in extreme conditions.
The bezel of the MRG-B5000R is the result of the assembly of 25 components, and the Dura Soft strap is beautifully soft. Decorated with textured motifs echoing the shape of the bricks found around the screen of the first G-SHOCK, it offers excellent wearing comfort and fits perfectly around the wrist. This elegant bracelet is also highly resistant. It features insert-molding of titanium components to reinforce its solidity and integration with the case.
