ENGLISH

During the Fashion Week in Paris, the Japanese brand Uniqlo has offered to the greatest number a free exposure with as the main subject the mesh.
It is in a beautiful setting in the National Gallery of “Le jeu de Paume” that Uniqlo decided to immerse the viewer in the heart of the mesh. To be more precise, it was a real immersion in the Uniqlo textile manufacturing process by following the stages of selection, preparation, production and finishing.
Constructed in an artistic approach, this exhibition was arranged by zone with each time a work to be discovered or a staging of all the beauty of the Japaneses artisan and technological know-how.
During this exhibition, visitors were also able to discover and buy cashmere made in collaboration with three Parisian brands: ANDREA CREWS, Maison Labiche and Keur Paris.
I found this exhibition rewarding, allowing me to learn more about Uniqlo’s philosophy. The artistic approach seems to have also been a great success with original works, sometimes monumental, sometimes as simple as a seamless weaving machine.
Thanks to uniqlo for the invitation and the visit.
