The Japanese shop ATMOS continues to highlight the history of street culture by reinterpreting cult ADIDAS silhouettes. After recently bringing its touch to the EQT PROTOTYPE (article available HERE), the Tokyo-based store is also teaming up with the brand WIND AND SEA for a 1st triple collaboration based on the legendary CAMPUS 80s.
ATMOS and Takashi Kumagai’s Japanese brand WIND AND SEA have already worked together on exclusive products, notably last year on an elegant black and jade blue Be@rbrick. Now, the friends ave teamed up with adidas to give the classic CAMPUS 80s silhouette a makeover using the two iconic shades that symbolize the two brands.
The shoe that has dominated the subculture scene since its launch in the 80s sports a unique and stylish look. It consists of a soft black suede base enhanced by jade-colored leather elements : the iconic 3-Stripes and heel tab. In terms of branding details, the black adidas Trefoil adorns the heel, the WIND AND SEA branding is emblazoned alongside the 3-Stripes and the adidas atmos co-branding stands out on the insole. To complete the look, the inner lining and laces are presented in black. The whole is based on a yellowed sole that adds a vintage dimension to this special edition.
This Campus 80s collaborative will be released with a capsule designed with RUSSELL ATHLETIC, the brand that created the world’s 1st sweatshirt and developed the 1st rubber print. We discover a short-sleeved t-shirt atmos x WIND AND SEA x RUSSELL ATHLETIC declined in 2 colorways, black or white, and adorned with branding inscriptions jade, black or/and yellow.
The WIND AND SEA x atmos x adidas Originals Campus 80s and the atmos x WIND AND SEA x RUSSELL ATHLETIC capsule will be released on March 5, 2022 in atmos stores and WIND AND SEA retailers, as well as online via a raffle set up at atmos-tokyo.com. Prices are set at 114$ (¥13,200) for the exclusive Campus 80s and 67$ (¥7,700) for each T-shirt.
