The famous Los Angeles shop UNION continues its partnership with the Swoosh brand. After the success of its revamped Nike Cortez earlier this year, the Chris Gibbs-founded store is teaming up with Jordan Brand to reinterpret the Air Jordan 1 Low KO.

The Air Jordan 1 Low KO was originally released in 1985, alongside the classic AJ1 High, Low and Mid. It was described as a discounted Air Jordan option, for those looking to acquire a signature shoe from ‘His Airness’ while not paying full price.

Teased for a few months, this collaborative AJ1 Low KO now appears in its official form.

The sneaker revisited by UNION is declined in 2 colorways : Grey and White.

It consists of a high quality canvas upper in a combination of white and grey for the 1st version and all White for the 2nd. The 2 pairs have a grey side Swoosh, which is interchangeable, and cream laces. To complete the look, they are adorned with yellow details, the signature color of UNION, such as the zig-zag stitching near the eyelets and on the tongue tag with the co-branding. The iconic yellow and black UNION ‘UN/LA’ tag is sewn onto the side heel below the Swoosh, and the Wings AJKO logo is emblazoned in grey on the white leather heel tab. The whole is based on a yellowed midsole and a light grey outsole that ensure the harmony of the design.

These collaborative pairs will be delivered in a special black/gold co-branded box and accompanied by an additional set of side Swooshes and a second set of laces. These items will come, respectively, in blue and grey for the « White » version.

The UNION x Air Jordan 1 Low KO will be released in early 2023, on January 27, 2023 to be precise, at a price of $150 each, in stores and online at store.unionlosangeles.com as well as at selected retailers and at nike.com.
