UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 Low

Japanese brand UNDERCOVER continues its successful partnership with sportswear giant NIKE. While the release dates of the Dunk High and ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT %2 are eagerly awaited (articles available on this site), the brand of designer Jun Takahashi has unveiled a trio of Air Force 1 Low during the presentation of its Spring/Summer 2022 lookbook.

The cult silhouette created by Bruce Kilgore in 1982 appears with the addition of a neoprene sockliner and a TPU heel brace with a strap that extends to the upper lace eyelets. These elements may make us think that the famous Japanese designer was inspired by the Air Revaderchi (an ACG sneaker from 1992) to develop his new UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 Low.

3 versions are proposed to us. The first is the iconic Full White colorway.

The second opts for a light grey base with the heel reinforcement of black and the purple neoprene shoe with a gold border. The midsole has a speckled effect and the outsole is black.

The third version features a grey and white all-over artwork print, a white side Swoosh, a black chrome heel reinforcement and a black sockliner. The look is completed with the iconic white sole.

The UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 Low trio is set to release in early 2022, at select retailers and on nike.com. More info to come, stay tuned !
