Famous American skateboarder Tyshawn Jones has revisited his signature Adidas shoe by teaming up with streetwear brand Fucking Awesome. An iteration with an audacious design is proposed to us today.
Tyshawn Jones is a young New Yorker from the Bronx who is part of Team Supreme. In 2018, at the age of 19, he was elected skater of the year by the reference magazine Thrasher. His style and notoriety allowed him to work with the Adidas skateboarding division. Together, they designed a signature shoe inspired by basketball but anchored in the skate attitude.This silhouette is unveiled to us today with the FA (Fucking Awesome) touch.
The pair consists of a gold yellow suede upper with the Fucking Awesome brand name written in graffiti style on the side panels. We find the three Adidas stripes overlayed in a translucent orange. A touch of contrast is provided by black elements such as the laces, the lower part of the tongue and the leather inner lining. For maximum comfort and performance, the shoe features a moulded insole and ankle and toe reinforcement. The whole is based on a brown Eva midsole and rubber outsole.
The Tyshawn Jones x Fucking Awesome x Adidas pair was exclusively released on the FA shop website and quickly sold out. A wider distribution will take place on 27 June 2020, at selected retailers and on adidas.com, for a suggested retail price of 95€
