Teased during the summer, the archival New Balance RAINIER silhouette, updated by the famous AIME LEON DORE (ALD) brand, will indeed be available before the end of the year.
Teddy Santis, founder of ALD and creative director of New Balance’s Made in USA line, continues to revive old models from the Boston-based brand with an attractive look.
This new boot combines its retro heritage design with the New York designer’s modern streetwear style. It has a new look that could be described as « trail-chic » and comes in 3 eye-catching colorways : Navy/Grey, Brown/Water Green and Burgundy/Wheat.
The special RAINIER consists of a durable Cordura and waterproof Gore-Tex upper, enhanced by nubuck overlays. The look is completed with metal eyelets, matching laces on the upper and a thick, sturdy sole in black with VIBRAM technology. In terms of branding details, the NB logo appears embossed on the quarter panel and co-branding adorns the nubuck tongue tag and black insole.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier trio will be released on December 16, 2022 in stores and online at aimeleondore.com. The price is set at $200 per pair and sizes ranging from US 4 to US 13. Be ready !
