American artist Travis Scott is definitely the man to follow this year ! After his recent collaboration with fast food giant Mac Donald’s, the Houston-based rapper is further expanding his area of expertise by becoming a creative partner of PlayStation. To promote the PS5 launch scheduled for November 12, 2020, Travis has posted a short video on his Instagram account featuring a brand new Nike Dunk Low.
In a press release, La Flame commented on this new project : “I am super grateful and excited to be able to bring my strategic and creative vision to the deployment of such an iconic product. I have always been a fan of the Playstation and the brand that created it, and this is yet another example of a partnership that believes in Cactus Jack and trusts it to deploy its brand. This is just the beginning of an incredible partnership”.
The exclusive shoe created in triple collaboration is dressed in a understated color palette, ranging from white to black and light grey. It consists of a pearl grey leather upper with white overlays. The inverted side swoosh, which has become Travis Scott’s signature since it first appeared on his Air Jordan 1 collaborations, is here adorned in black color. To affirm the collaboration, the PlayStation logo appears on the white side heel. A tongue in the color of the upper and black laces finalize the design. The whole is based on a white midsole combined with a grey outsole.
