Travis Scott continues to expand his Jordan Brand collaboration offerings. While a very understated Air Jordan 1 Low « Black Phantom » is expected in December, the designer artist was seen with a bold version of the Air Jordan 6 during his vacation in Monaco.
The Houston rapper appeared wearing the famous « Yellow » colorway, a variation that had surfaced on social networks a few years ago. The craze was huge but Jordan Brand had finally denied the release of this special version to the general public.
The bball consists of a yellow upper with matching overlays. We find the small storage pocket hanging under the ankle and reflective 3M detailing on the side panels. The look is completed with black colored elements such as the tongue, laces, inner lining and heel tabs. Red branding details add flair to the pair. The whole is based on a black and white midsole, coupled with a semi-translucent outsole that is probably glow-in-the-dark.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 « Yellow » doesn’t seem to be intended for a general release. It remains a Friends&Family pair that is very popular with sneakerheads.
