The famous American rapper Travis Scott, now also known for his highly successful collaborations with Nike, was recently seen with a pair of new Air Jordan 1 Low. After the media hype around the latest Nike Dunk Low re-imagined with PlayStation in November 2020 (article available HERE), Travis Scott could partner with Jordan Brand to offer us a brand new Air Jordan 1.
This shoe is dressed in a color palette similar to that of the much sought-after Air Jordan 1 « Obsidian », released in the summer of 2019.
According to Travis Scott’s published photos with this pair on feet, the sneaker seems to consist of a white leather upper with Obsidian and University Blue overlays. We find the Travis Scott signature inverted Swoosh, here in white color, on the side panels. On the medial side, the Swoosh presented in its traditional positioning, is dressed in the Obsidian color. Another branding detail, it seems that the two heels are decorated with Wings embroidery and not the Cactus Jack logo, as seen on the 2019 collaboration, AJ1 Low « Mocha ». A University Blue lining, a tongue and white laces complete the look. The final touch of the design is provided by a white midsole combined with a dark blue outsole.
