TODD SNYDER X NEW BALANCE 997 “CHALK STRIPE”

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The famous New York fashion designer Todd Snyder has teamed up with New Balance to offer us a minimalist collaboration inspired by a fashion trend from the 70s.

Before creating his own eponymous brand in 2011, designer Todd Snyder worked for brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap or JCrew. For this new project, he wanted to highlight a period when people dressed in an elegant way. In the 70s, stripes were in vogue. Two kinds of stripes : the tennis called Pin Stripe and the chalk called Chalk Stripe, dressed classy men from all backgrounds, from tennis players to gangsters like Al Capone who was fond of grey suits with black stripes.

This shoe pays tribue to the minimalist style often promoted by tennis icons who liked to look as elegant on the courts during the day as they did on the disco dance floor at night.

The pair consists of a premium quality leather and suede upper. Entirely grey and white, we find a touch of beige on the heel mould. The whole is based on a white midsole and a grey outsole.

The New Balance 997 x Todd Snyder « Chalk Stripe » will be available on April 17, 2020 exclusively on ToddSnyder.com for 230$[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”31219″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
