The sportswear leader NIKE regularly offers us eye-catching collabs with brands from different universes. The latest to surface : an Air Force 1 Low revisited by the famous jeweler TIFFANY & CO. Named « 1837 », it has an elegant and simple look.
In addition to working with sportsmen, artists and streetwear stores, the Swoosh brand surrounds itself with great creators from various fields to offer us exceptional collaborations.
After Swarovski, NIKE unveils a collaboration with the emblematic Tiffany & Co. which had inspired the famous colorway of the Diamond Supply Co. x SB Dunk Low Tiffany of 2005.
The name « 1837 », refers to Tiffany’s 1837 line which nods to the brand’s founding and takes a minimalist approach to jewelry design. Following this theme, this collaborative sneaker sports a simple and effective construction.
Excluding jewels or other jewelry details, the Tiffany & Co. X AF1 Low « 1837 » consists of a black nubuck upper with matching overlays. The collab is subtly affirmed by the side Swoosh in teal grained leather, Tiffany & Co’s signature hue. The black nylon tongue is adorned with the delicate ‘Tiffany’ branding and the back of the heel is adorned with the jewelry brand’s sterling silver plaque. To highlight the Tiffany & Co. tribute, other elements of the shoe such as the inner lining, braided laces, heel tab, eyelet area and sole are dressed in black.
The pair will come in a special teal blue box with a white Swoosh and accompanied by 3 additional sets of flat laces (white, yellow and Tiffany teal).
The TIFFANY & CO. x NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW will be released on March 7, 2023, in an ultra-limited edition and for a price of $400, at selected retailers and online at nike.com and tiffany.com. Be ready !
