The South Korean label THISISNEVERTHAT unveils a new part of its collaboration with the equipment manufacturer NEW BALANCE based on the silhouette 860v2. After the white colorway teased earlier this week (article available HERE), a black version has surfaced.
For this second reinterpretation, the Asian brand has remained in an understated and timeless style provided by the color black.
The shoe retains the same design as the white version seen previously. It consists of a perforated black leather base with matching smooth leather overlays. The forefoot is adorned with a black suede reinforcement and a touch of contrast is provided by the iconic white N logo. To affirm the collab, the tongue tag features the red co-branding and the insole is dyed green, probably a nod to the last two 2002R collaborations. The whole is based on a black outsole that harmoniously completes the design.
The 2 NB 860 v2 designed with THISISNEVERTHAT will be released with an apparel collection composed of a black and white bomber jacket, black or grey hoodie/sweatpants, black or red t-shirts and beanies. All these pieces are adorned with a contrasting color co-branding.
The THISISNEVER THAT x New Balance 860v2 “Black” and the entire collection will be released on February 9, 2022 in store and online at intl.thisisneverthat.com.
