The legendary brand CLARKS is used to offer us high quality shoes and prestigious collabs. In addition to ending the year 2021 with the SANDFORD model from the special line created by Ronnie Fieg (article available HERE), the English label had teamed up with SWEET CHICK, the chicken and waffle restaurant of the iconic rapper NAS and John Seymour.
For this collab, the choice was logically made for the famous Wallabee Boot silhouette, a pair associated with New York rap and widely popularized by NAS.
In order to make the link between the DNA of this shoe and the specialty of the SWEET CHICK restaurant, this Wallabee boot is declined in 2 colorways : one beige in a « natural waffle » tone and the other brown « fried chicken ».
These pairs are composed of an upper combining smooth suede and hairy suede. The toe area is adorned with chicken seasoning-inspired speckles and the sides feature a waffle pattern symbolizing the famous gourmet restaurant side dish. To complete the look seamlessly, the collar is presented in smooth leather in a darker shade, as are the 2 branded CLARKS Originals and Sweet Chick hangtags. The whole is based on the iconic CLARKS signature crepe sole.
