Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low

The legendary Nike silhouette that turns 40 in 2022, the AIR FORCE 1, continues to be the basis for interesting collaborations. While the reimagined version by TIFFANY & Co. is set to be released in a few days, an exclusive SUSHI CLUB iteration has been introduced.

Renowned Japanese chef Nobuyuki « Nobu » Matushisa and Chris Stamp, the Los Angeles-based stylist and founder of the lifestyle brand ‘STAMPD’, teamed up to bring their touch to the iconic silhouette designed by Bruce Kilgore in 1982.

This collaborative AF1 Low has a chic and elegant look.

It retains its DNA by being dressed entirely in smooth white leather, like the original version from the early 80s. In order to affirm the collab with class and elegance, it’s adorned with the black « Beverly Hills Sushi Club » and the restaurant’s double chopstick logo laser engraved on the side heel. The dubraes are also adorned with a special « SF-1 » (Sushi Force-1) inscription, while the white tongue tag features the light grey co-branding. The great attention to detail is also characterized by the names of the collaborators, STAMPD and MATSUHISA, printed in black on the white laces. A traditional all-white sole harmoniously completes the design.

This collaborative pair will be released with a specially designed clothing line. It includes classic streetwear items such as hoodies, t-shirts and caps, but also a kitchen essential : an apron.

For the connoisseurs, the partners are also offering exclusive luxury dubraes in 14-carat white gold, made in New York by Greg Yuna. The price is set at 2500$.

The Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low will be released in the coming weeks, if not days, in limited edition online at sushi-club.com. The price should be around $200. Good luck !
