In July, the first images of an upcoming SUPREME x Nike SB Blazer Mid black had appeared on social networks. This special version was reminiscent of the collaborative pack released in 2006 and raised the question of a future reissue. Today, a new colorway SUPREME x Nike SB Blazer Mid is presented to us : « Industrial Blue ».
As a reminder, in 2006, SUPREME and Nike released a trio of special SB Blazers with a padded upper. Inspired by high fashion shows, these exclusive versions were offered in red, black or white, and featured a Swoosh with a snakeskin pattern and gold details. They were a huge success and still sell today between $2000 and $3000 on the secondary market.
This SUPREME x Nike SB Blazer Mid « Industrial Blue » takes the codes of the versions from the 2006 pack.
It consists of a padded upper in blue denim, complemented by a side Swoosh featuring a snakeskin pattern in 2 shades of brown. At the heel, we discover a blue checkerboard yoke, enhanced by a golden metallic buckle matching the upper’ stitching. A blue and gold tongue co-branding, a red insole featuring white Nike SB and SUPREME logos, and a collaborative « World Famous » hangtag ensure the look and assert the collab. The whole is based on an all-white contrasting sole.
The Supreme x Nike SB Blazer Mid « Industrial Blue » is set to be released on September 8, 2022 in store and online for $120 as part of the New York-based streetwear brand’s Fall/Winter 2022 week 2 collection. The black colorway and an undisclosed colorway should accompany it. Stay tuned !
