Legendary New York brand SUPREME unveils another installment of its strong partnership with Nike. After offering us a nostalgic collection of SB Blazer Mid earlier this month, James Jebbia and Tremaine Emory have delved into the Swoosh brand’s archives to bring out the Air Max TL.
Launched in 1999, this racing silhouette reappears for the first time in a retro version.
Revisited by SUPREME, the Nike Air Max TL was unveiled in a white makeup. Like the previous collaborative collections, other colorways should surface soon.
The sneaker consists of a white mesh upper with leather overlays and TPU inserts in tone on tone. This base is subtly contrasted by light grey elements, such as the small side Swoosh and the imposing SUPREME branding applied to the heel. To ensure the look, the pair benefits from two-tone white/grey laces, ripples on the heel tab and a co-branded red hangtag. The whole is based on a white midsole featuring a transparent full-length Air Max unit taken from the AM 97, and a matching outsole that harmoniously finalizes the design.
