For some time now, we have been offered collaborations essentially based on SB Dunk or Air Jordan silhouettes. The prestigious New York streetwear brand Supreme preferred to dig into Nike’s archives to present its retro vision of the summer sneaker. James Jebbia’s teams have chosen a model from the 90s : the Air Cross Trainer III Low.
Two colorways should be proposed to us. One in a palette of Pine Green, White and University Gold, and the other ranging from black to green and University Red.
The pairs are designed with premium materials. The upper consists of perforated leather with overlays of full-grain leather. To affirm the association of the two brands, the usual Nike Air, applied on the heel tab, descends to the Supreme logo on the back of the heel. In terms of detail, we find TPU eyelets and a black stripe on the back of the shoe. The whole is based on a white or red midsole, depending on the iteration, and an imposing black outsole.
The Supreme x Nike Cross Trainer III Low are announced for the Spring/Summer 2020 season, so they should be available very soon, on SupremeNewYork.com and Nike.com , for an approximate price of 130€ each colorways.
