[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Pionner streetwear brand Stüssy has once again teamed up with Nike to bring back to life a high-performance running shoe familiar to sportsmen and women of the late 90’s : the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon.
Today designed in an urban and bold style, this new Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 is available in 2 totally different colorways :
• “Pure Platinum / Black White”
This sneaker, which keeps a sporting mind, is made of a silver black mesh upper and silver metallic overlays. There are touches of glossy black at the heel and tongue.
• “Fossil / Black Fossil”
This lifestyle shoe is mostly made of beige canvas with some mesh parts. The only other touch of colour on this monochrome model is black to cover the Swoosh.
These two pairs have in common a midsole made of “Phylite” lightweight rubber and the the presence of Air bubbles separated by black plastic elements, forming the complex system of “cages” to promote running. The latter is complemented by cushioning technology at the front of the foot, visible through a space on the outsole.
The branding details of both brands are found in the both colorways. This include the black Swoosh, the oval Stüssy badge on the tongue, and the same name on the toe box.
This collaboration is complemented by clothing and accessories : a t-shirt, a tracksuit (sweat + trainer) and a tote bag, designed in a casual, Californian “laid-back” style, typical of the Stüssy brand’s inspirations.
Confronting of the current global health crisis, the Nike x Stüssy “Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2” and the items of this collection can only be ordered online for Europe, UK, US and Canada. Only available in Stüssy store open to the public : Hong Kong, Sydney, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan. RELEASE : March 27th
