For a few years now, Miami-based brand STRAY RATS and Boston apparel company NEW BALANCE have been teaming up to bring us exclusive products. After reworking the NB 580 model in 2022, Julian Consuegra teases a reimagined NB 574 that should be released for summer 2023.
STRAY RATS had already brought its touch a 1st time to this iconic running shoe at the very beginning of the year 2021.
True to the style of the brand founded by Julian Consuegra, the NB 574 collaborative appears colorful and bold. It comes in 3 colorways : Red/Purple/Blue, Olive Green/Khaki Green/Pink and Red/Black.
Just like the STRAY RATS x NB 574 duo from 2021, the sneaker consists of a nylon upper with furry suede overlays. The side N logo and heel tab are dressed in leather and the pair features a grey TPU stabilizing heel clip. To affirm the collab, STRAY RATS’ branding and/or ‘rat’ logo stands out on the tongue tag, insole and back of the heel. The whole is based on a white Encap midsole with a colored part under the heel and on a black rubber studded outsole.
Each pair will come in a special co-branded box and accompanied by at least 2 sets of laces to add contrast to the design.
