To kick off this year 2023, Japanese shop ATMOS teams up again with Jeff Staple to reinterpret the PUMA Suede VTG silhouette. This triple collaboration continues the recurring « Crow and Pigeon » theme used in previous joint projects.

This special version takes the color scheme chosen for the previous STAPLE x ATMOS x PUMA Suede and also recalls the very first Staple x Puma Clyde released in 2013.

It’s part of the celebration of 25 years of Staple’s eponymous brand.

Like past editions, the new PUMA Suede triple collaborative adopts a design that pays homage to the world of Atmos‘ and STAPLE‘s hometowns, Tokyo and New York respectively. ‘CROW’ represents the crows that live in Tokyo, while ‘PIGEON’ refers to the birds that are very present in the streets of New York.

The sneaker consists of an upper mixing white grained leather and black suede, with a touch of pink which is the key color of STAPLE. The white grained leather dresses up the panels while the black suede appears at the toe box, tongue, overlay at the back of the heel and the PUMA stripe on one side of the foot. On the other side and asymmetrically, this iconic logo stands out in pink suede. To affirm the look and collab, embroidery of a pigeon and a raven adorn the side heels and the tongue tags feature co-branding, paired with ‘XXV’ (’25’ in Roman numerals that symbolizes 25 years of STAPLE) on the right foot. Silver PUMA logos on the quarter panel and heel, a white leather lining and an all-black sole finish off the design nicely and harmoniously.

This triple collaborative pair will be released with a black tee and a grey hoodie also celebrating 25 years of the STAPLE brand. These pieces feature special co-branding on the chest as well as a map illustration on the back, highlighting New York and Tokyo. Also featured are the words ‘NYC TO TOKYO’/’TOKYO TO NYC’ and latitudes/longitudes of these cities.

The STAPLE x ATMOS x PUMA Suede VTG will be released on January 19, 2023 at a price of $120 (¥15400) in stores and online on the Japanese shop’s website, via an open raffle HERE from January 13. Be ready !
