Today, it’s Spencer McMullen who had the opportunity to be put in touch with Converse and to be able to realize his own collaboration with the American brand.
Spencer McMullen is a 21-year-old American whose chance meeting with Tyler at the age of 16 was a turning point in his career.
For this project, Spencer wanted to immerse himself in the model by taking inspiration from real stories about him, drawing ideas from books and internet photos of his life in Jacksonville. So he took the time to draw and paint his characters by hand and then apply them to the blank canvas of the Chuck 70.
The pair consists of a white canvas upper with the artist’s drawings on it. The whole is based on a classic white sole.
