A few months ago, I told you in an article (available HERE) about the collaboration between the brand of German designer Hikmet Sugoer SONRA and the charity ONE WARM WINTER. The goal was to develop a « Social Sneaker » campaign to encourage people to go to charity and give their time.
Sensitive to social issues and wanting to join the collective effort, Hikmet Sugoer via his brand Sonra, had the idea to set up a raffle never seen before : the first in the world that helps the neighborhood, the street.
The only way to access the raffle was to help a homeless charity for a day. I was lucky enough to participate and win one, i suggest you to discover it on my feet.
The Proto II is made in Germany with premium materials. It consists of a charcoal grey leather upper, complemented by royal blue suede at the eyelets, tongue and inner lining. A comfortable white midsole and a rubber outsole finalize the look.
I validate in 100% this project which allowed to realize that it’s important to know how to give a little of its time to help others. Concerning the pair, it’s also a validation. I was a little skeptical about the association of iron grey with a royal blue but in the end, once in hand, I quickly changed my mind. I might have put one or two more inserts in royal blue (finding the pair a bit too grey). Anyway, I like it and I validate it.
