The famous Miami shop SOLEFLY continues its fruitful collaboration with Jordan Brand. After offering us a reinterpretation of the legendary AJ1 Low last winter (article available HERE), the store founded by Carlos Prieto brings his touch to the Air Jordan 13.
Michael Jordan’s 13th signature shoe was created by Tinker Hatfield with inspiration from the black panther. It features a design representing the game and the feline side of the iconic number 23 of the Chicago Bulls.
SOLEFLY dresses this special version in the colors of the UNC Tar Heels. It consists of an upper combining cream colored ripstop nylon with blue and grey suede. We find the iconic hologram under the ankle referring to the eye of a panther. To complete the look, the blue inner lining features embossed patterns and the laces are speckled. The pair is adorned with Air Jordan and SoleFly logos on the tongue and animal print insole. The whole is based on a blue and white midsole, coupled with a gum outsole that imitates the cushions of the feline.
