The famous Swedish retailer SNEAKERSNSTUFF adds a 3rd exclusive GT « Paris » version to its « Hometown Love » collection designed in collaboration with German equipment manufacturer adidas. This new iteration refers to the spirit of Parisian SNS store, while honoring the French capital through the British soccer fans who follow their team in the City of Light.
As a reminder, this SNS x adidas original GT « Hometown Love » collection aims to pay tribute to the different cities that host SNS stores around the world. The first pair from this pack was unveiled in June 2020 : a « Stockholm » version logically honoring the hometown of the Swedish shop. The second iteration, released in September 2020, represented London : the first city where an SNS store was established outside its country of origin. (articles available on this site).
This new edition, named « Paris », gives a souvenir of the British teams’ away games in the capital of Paris.
Erik Fagerland and Peter Jansson, the founders of SNS, wanted to reflect this special atmosphere on this shoe. With a nod to the host country, the color palette includes the iconic hues of the French tricolor flag, as well as unique details that bring Parisian flair back across the channel.
The sneaker consists of an off-white premium suede upper, complemented by leather inserts. Notably the blue tongue, the white adidas 3 side stripes and the red heel tab. To affirm the tribute, the white insole features a bright yellow print of the Paris city map. This yellow color, also chosen to define the Handball Spezial rubber sole, is reminiscent of the gilding of the famous and unique « French baguette ». A white inner lining and laces finalize the look.
The SNS x adidas Originals GT « Paris » will be released on March 27, 2021 exclusively on the SNS app, priced at 120$ and sizesrun US 4.5 to US 12.5. Registration for the raffle is now open, good luck !
