The famous German brand KangaROOS unveils the 4th and final part of its unifying project « ROOS UNITED ». For this ultimate opus, 2 German and British sneaker enthusiasts, Sneaker Queen and Kish Kash respectively, have rightly reinterpreted the Ultimate silhouette. Named « Cherry Maple », this shoe reflects their shared love for nature and beautiful materials.
Sneaker Queen and Kish Kash were specifically inspired by walks in the forest, mixing wet ground, moss carpets and autumn foliage. Sublimated by the ripples of the sun, this ensemble is transcribed on the collaborative sneaker. The name « Cherry Maple » recalls the maple leaves, as well as the scent of wild cherries and pine that floats through the forest canopy.
The pair sports an earthy, autumnal color palette combining shades of brown, green, yellow and red, matching the chosen theme and additional laces sets. The color scheme throughout the foot appears to mimic the changing hues of leaves during the fall transition. As with all products in the range, this special version is handcrafted in the German Hummel&Hummel factory using high-quality materials. It features a combination upper of perforated full grain cowhide and suede, with an additional layer of suede on the inner heel counter to accentuate comfort.
The Sneakerqueen x Kishkash KangaROOS Ultimate 001 « Cherry Maple » will be released on October 23, 2021 in a limited edition of 400 pieces at select retailers such as Footshop, Overkill, 43einhalb or Hanon. Be ready !
