The brand of audio products SKULLCANDY focuses on research and innovation to provide us with wireless earbuds that are always more efficient and ergonomic. The American company announces the arrival of the « Indy ANC », a new pair of high-end earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation technology.
These earbuds are part of SKULLCANDY’s most popular product line, Indy True Wireless. They are the most high-end.
In addition to the ANC active noise reduction technology, they feature customizable sound via the brand’s app, for a truly unique listening experience tailored to everyone’s hearing. The Audiodo technology of this SKULLCANDY app analyzes the hearing of both ears independently, then automatically adjusts the audio to optimal levels, providing incomparable comfort and listening. Also, in order to stay in tune with the surrounding world and use each earphone solo, the user can activate the « AMBIENT » mode. Jeff Hutchings, SKULLCANDY Product Manager, explains, « SKULLCANDY products are designed with the needs of our fans in mind, and we are always looking for ways to incorporate new technologies into our earbuds ». That’s why, in addition to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), these Indy’s have another technological breakthrough called TILE. Already seen on other SKULLCANDY models such as the Indy Evo, TILE allows the user to locate it(s) lost earbud(s) on a map. To top it all off, the Indy ANC earbuds have an IPX4 certification of water and perspiration resistance, and they guarantee an autonomy of 5 hours on a single charge with ANC activated, 9 hours without ANC. The charging case provides an additional 14 hours with ANC and 23 hours without ANC, so a total of 19 hours of autonomy with ANC or 32 hours without ANC.
